How to submit a website to Google search? A recent post in 2019 

Stepwise guide to submit website to google search. Free web submission.

There are many free search engine submission lists are available. But all won't work. It's better, at our won we have to do website submission. So, below are the short steps. 

1. Select the website which you want to submit for google search.

2. Open a professional google account.

3. Through a google account open a search console. Click here to open the search console.

4. Submit a domain name or enter the website's complete address.

5. Check the search console.

6. Verify your website on the search console through the addition of a meta tag in the head section of the website. Read the steps below: how to add a meta tag in the head section?

7. In addition, click verify now, google will successfully complete site verification for your website.

Now your website is submitted for indexing in google search.

Why there is a need to submit the site to google search?

Websites are prepared to share information and to target your business to too many people. But tell me, what will happen if no person will visit your website. That means "Zero traffic".  If you receive good traffic, then only there are few chances of getting paid. 

If you submit URL to google, google crawler will crawl your website content and show your web page in search results. If this happens, the cost of advertising required for your website will be saved. In a simple way, it's an invitation to a search engine to crawl your website for indexing in search results. 

Now there is one more question that might be arising in your mind.

You all know that Google is the leading search engine among all other search engines like bing, ask.com, dogpile, yahoo, etc. If you submit a website to each of the search engines, there is a chance to receive good traffic on your page.

So here in this post, I have given a step-wise pictorial demonstration to submit a website to the google search engine.

1. Select the website which you want to submit for google search.

• Select the website you want to submit to the search engine. Like my website address is https://pdtechreviews.blogspot.com. So I have selected the website name. See the below image.

2. Open a professional google account.

• To submit a website in the Google search engine, you should have a google account. So open a Google account or else use an existing Google account. 

3. Open Search console

• For submission of website, you must go for google webmaster tool. i.e. search console. 
• Click here to open the search console. 
• Click on start now to proceed further. 
• Login with a Google account.

4. How to Submit a domain name or website complete address in the search console?

• Open your website.
• Copy the website address and paste as shown below. Use both domain addresses and the complete link of your website. Click continue.

5. How to verify the website in the search console?

• You will see the below picture of the verification of the website. 
• The verification will not be successful, as the Html code is not linked to your website. So, complete the step as per the next point.

6. How to add meta tag in blogger?

• The verification process will not succeed if the meta tag of google search is not included on the website homepage. For instance, for my blog, I have added a meta tag in the head section. 
• Choose "HTML tag" ownership verification method.
• Copy the exact code mentioned and paste it into the head section of your blog.

• Open blogger, go to themes. Select HTML view of theme as mentioned in image below. 

• Paste the exact code copied in the head section as I have done for my website.
• Click on save the theme. 

• On saving go to search console and click on verify

• On successful verification, you will see the below page.

So, here it's done. Your website is now submitted to the Google search engine. Now Google will crawl your website and will provide a detailed report. About your website performance accordingly, you have to make changes to your website to rank in search results.
