How to submit URL to Bing and yahoo?

Months back I had posted on how to submit URL on google. You all must have read the post. Now in this post, I will show you the stages for submitting the website to Bing and yahoo. But one question might be there in your head. 

Website / URL submission is required for generating traffic. When we update a post or create a website, the site is supposed to be viewed by regular visitors. Then we can promote or advertise a product on the website. But, what will happen if no one visits the site? I will say "No visitors - No value". So google, yahoo, bing, and many more search engines do the stuff for us. 

For this reason, we have to submit the site URL to search engines; then and then only, our site will come in search results. Keep the below sentence in mind. You will get to know why URL submission is required...

A. Submit URL to Bing and submit site to Yahoo

One thing you should know is, yahoo is taking search results from bing only. Hence, separate website submission to yahoo is not required. So, I will not take much more time and we will go to the main topic. So guys below are the detailed stages for submitting website / URL to bing and yahoo.

1. Bing Webmaster tool:

Go to google and/or simply type Bing webmaster tool in the search box. Open the first search result as shown in the below image.

2. Sign up - Bing webmaster tool:

Open the bing webmaster link and go for new account creation or if you have an account then sign in there. In spite of this, you can sign with your Google, Facebook, and Microsoft accounts. Go with either Microsoft account/google account / Facebook account.

I used a google account to sign up to Bing as all my details will be used from google. You can choose any one of them. See the picture provided below for ease of understanding.

I have my login credentials, hence I will directly log in here. So next stage will be adding your property. Means website/ blog URL.

3. Add my site to Bing:

Here bing offers the addition of your site by adding a URL and if you have a search console then you can directly import the submitted URL from the google search console. See the below image, where you have to add your website/blog name for submitting to bing.

Enter your URL name in the highlighted area and click on "add". Here is one great piece of news. If you have a site that is verified on Google, you don't need to verify again for being. Import your site from the google search console and that's it.

Go with the search console and it will go to a google account for authentication and permission. Click on allow to access your search console. See the below image for example.

It will list down the sites submitted to the google search console and select which site you want to submit to bing. In my case, the list-down window will not come as my all sites are verified on bing too. 

This will show in your case. Use sitemap for the addition of your site. As shown below. Only mention "sitemap.xml" after your website URL and click on add like the sequence given in the below image. I have masked my URL id as it was prepared only for trial. So neglect the same. If the sitemap is added, leave the column as it is, it can be added later.

4. Verify Ownership: How to verify site ownership?

After the addition of the website URL and sitemap, the next step comes for verification of ownership. If you have imported your site from the google search console, you don't need to verify here. But you have added a site as a new site, then you have to verify ownership.

Copy the HTML code like shown below and paste it into your blog/website head section.
